Did you know that Elon Musk didn’t get a job at Netscape because he was to shy?

He was in their offices, CV in hand, ready for an opportunity. But no one approached him, and he himself didn’t have the courage to make the first move. In the end, he left without accomplishing anything – without a job, but with a decision: If it didn’t work out at Netscape, he would build something of his own.

This moment, which seemed like a failure, became the starting point for a career that changed the world.

And what does that mean for us?

In Germany, we invest billions in ambitious research and technology programs every year. These programs are often full of groundbreaking ideas and innovative approaches. But all too often they fail at one crucial point: technology transfer.

The step from theory to practice is often difficult. Hurdles that are too high, processes that are too complex and a lack of clear, implementable approaches prevent great technologies from actually changing the world.

This is exactly where prototype.club comes in.

Our approach

We put an end to lengthy, complicated processes. Instead, we focus on small, agile and measurable initiatives that make it possible to achieve concrete results within a few months.

We bring deep-tech startups together with strong partners from industry.
We ensure that ideas become real, tangible progress.
We help to break down barriers and make innovation easily accessible – for everyone involved.

Our aim is to make the step from idea to implementation as easy as possible. So that investments worth billions do not come to nothing, but have a real impact.
