From Vision to Reality: How we drive Innovation

Smart Systems & AI-Driven Optimization

3D Digital Twins → Offline localization

Siemens Energy needed to improve navigation in complex industrial environments—but where to start? Together with Infinite Foundry, winner of HM.prototype.club 2023, they developed a digital twin to power an offline navigation software that runs on any smartphone or tablet without internet, GPS, or external hardware.

AI-driven water management → From data to sustainability

Water is a critical resource in dairy production, but how can its use be optimized? The GEA Challenge, leveraged AI to create dynamic water stress maps and smart categorization systems, helping manufacturers track, reuse, and reduce water consumption for a more sustainable future. GEA selected OmegaLambdaTec for implementation based on their winning prototype.

Human-Machine Interaction → Smarter Harvest Logistics

How can autonomous and manned machines work together seamlessly?
OmegaLambdaTec developed a simulation-based optimization system that dynamically adjusts machine routes and logistics for the AGCO Challenge.
By integrating real-time data, field conditions, and automation levels, their solution optimizes efficiency, costs, and environmental impact. Within just three months, the prototype was successfully implemented.

UX & Human-Centered Technology

Engaging the Energy Future → Communication Meets Gamification

How do you make complex energy systems accessible and engaging? For the TransnetBW Challenge, a communication strategy was developed, combining a dedicated website and gamification elements to bring DA/RE to life.

3D Visualization & Interaction → The Smart Cockpit for Future Farming

How can the tractor cabin become an intuitive control center? The CLAAS Challenge explored new UX/UI concepts to make complex field data easily accessible and interactive.
Lumos won with its 3D visualization approach, combining real-time data display with new interaction methods.

Industrial Tech & Mobility Innovations

AI-Powered image recognition → Smarter vision for roads and farms

How can AI-driven image recognition revolutionize mobility and farming?
The DLR Challenge set out to make vehicle detection on the A39 highway more precise. With AI-powered image recognition, participants developed solutions to track and localize moving vehicles in real time. ANavS impressed with its high-precision approach and was selected for implementation.
The Fraunhofer Challenge took AI beyond the road—exploring how computer vision can optimize daylight use for animal-friendly perches. Vetvise delivered the winning solution and was commissioned for deployment.

Health tech & HMI → Safer roads through driver’s mood & health detection

Monitoring driver health in real time—how can technology prevent accidents and enhance road safety? 7 startups presented their ideas to Daimler Truck. Two startups were commissioned: Nuverse to develop an advanced app for measuring and analyzing driver health data, and Proband15 to conduct research on driver acceptance and usability, ensuring the technology aligns with real-world needs.

Innovation for industry associations

Since 2022, we have been working with leading associations such as DLG, VDA, and VDMA to connect startups and companies, bringing innovation exactly where it is needed.

  • Startups gain direct access to strong industry networks.
  • Companies benefit from tailored solutions for digitalization and sustainability challenges.
  • Associations expand their service offerings for members through targeted innovation programs

Examples of successful formats with associations:

  • Innovation competitions – Startups develop groundbreaking solutions, while companies benefit from fresh ideas (e.g. Daimler Truck).
  • Thought Leadership & Trade fair – Collaborating with industry thought leaders to drive innovation and maximize visibility at major trade fairs (e.g. Claas & AGCO at Agritechnica).
  • Development of ecosystems for future value creation e.g. Hackathons for federal states – Connecting key stakeholders and fostering regional innovation (e.g. Smart Farming Hackathon).
100% Quality - Real Impact

2024: Every use case led to real results. No ideas left on paper—every project turned into concrete solutions, with startups getting commissioned.

Some partners were so convinced that they didn’t stop at one—they commissioned multiple startups to scale their innovation efforts.

No pilots without follow-up. No “maybe later.” Just results that drive real change.

Innovation for Climate Protection

From small actions to industrial impact: Just like turning off the tap at home saves water, our GEA use case at ANUGA Foodtec tackled water conservation—but on a massive scale.

With OmegaLambdaTec’s data-driven analytics, GEA identified inefficiencies in dairy production, cutting unnecessary water waste while maintaining top-quality standards.

The result? More sustainable production, lower resource consumption, and a measurable step towards climate protection.

Innovation Without Borders

Startups from Barcelona, Munich, and Warsaw shape our competitions – but innovation goes further. Talents from Portugal, India, and the USA bring fresh perspectives to our use cases.
