Great partnerships, inspiring talks and the next step towards our vision!
E-world energy & water 2024 opened its doors from 20 to 22 February 2024, and we from prototype.club were right in the middle of it. We were there in Essen to share our vision with the world. From inspiring talks to exciting encounters – we have summarised the highlights for you here:
Focus on our vision
Meeting with VDMA - A look into the future
Encouragement from the highest level
State Secretary Silke Krebs was also on site and had encouraging words for us. Her support for innovation in established industries is exactly what we need to move forward. Her recognition of our work was balm for the soul and confirmed that we are on the right track!
Important partners at our stand
We had great partners and contacts at our stand who are all pulling in the same direction and want to drive innovation forward together with us.
Peter Schlösser from the Competence Centre for Innovative Procurement (KOINNO) supported us with his expertise in the field of innovative procurement. We were also supported by Dietmar Miller from our partner and network Smart Grids-Plattform Baden-Württemberg e.V., who gave us insights into the energy sector.
Support that inspires
Michael von Roeder, as CDIO of the Elia Group, plays a decisive role as a driver of the energy transition in both Germany and Belgium. The Elia Group firmly believes in the transformative power of intrapreneurship. Their approach enables employees to turn challenges into opportunities and actively participate in shaping the energy grid of the future.
Their support and belief in our vision are the fuel that drives us!
Panel with CEO Christian Schweizer
Our CEO Christian Schweizer was part of this panel and shared important insights on inspiring young talent in the energy transition at the Future Forum: Traditional companies in particular need to offer attractive conditions to retain young talent, otherwise they will create their own start-ups.
Also part of the panel: Matthias Heidmeier, State Secretary in the Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, Leon Trippel and Claus Urbanke from Statkraft.
Conclusion of the exciting discussion: We recognise the urgent need for change in the energy sector. Innovation is inevitable and we are determined to make our contribution.
